I want to mulch some of my garden beds as I have been told the many benefits such as healthier soil and less weeds however I am not sure if I should use organic mulch (bark, wood cuttings, etc.) or inorganic mulch (black rubber). What are the pros and cons of each?

Organic mulch adds nutrients to your soil as it decomposes while Inorganic mulches, specifically black rubber, absorbs heat and heats the soil at night which is great for warm-soil loving plants such as tomato and eggplant.
